Uncap Everything: So Philly, how’d you get into brewing?

Philly Mack: I’ve been interested in beer since I was a teenager, but had no clue I could brew in small places until I was about 21.

Uncap Everything: That’s cool, so how long have you been brewing?

Philly Mack: I’ve been brewing since I was about 24, sooo about 7 years.

Uncap Everything: Wow, so you’ve got some skin in the game! Tell me a little more about this particular IPA.

Philly Mack: The IPA came about because I wanted to something good to drink when smoking cigars that would pair well and keep me from spitting. I used Columbia, Citra, Mosaic and Zythos hops.

Uncap Everything: I love the imagery and branding I see with this beer, what do you hope people take away after drinking the Mack IPA?

Philly Mack: Thank you very much! I want people to have fun, listen to some dope music, light up whatever you smoke, Chile and kick it with your friends. Enjoy the complexity of the IPA while trying to simplify the complexities of life.

Philly Mack: It’s up in the air right now. The next beer to release is between two different styles I don’t really want to go into, but I guarantee you’ll be the first to know.

Uncap Everything: Bet!! I’m excited to see how you and the brand grows this year!!
